All Old Core Locations in MIO: Memories in Orbit

Use Hairline to grapple onto the floating enemy and propel yourself up to this platform. Scavenge the core from the remains.

Secret Area: Head east under the western Old-fashioned Key door and it’ll take you into a secret room. The Old Core will be on the mechanical remains in there.

Speak to Poncia to receive an Old Core.

Drop down the nearby shaft while hugging the left wall to find a secret path.

Make your way to the far west and you’ll find mechanical remains containing the Old Core on the pipes.

Found just outside the path leading west. Obtained by salvaging the Mechanized Remains.

Examine the remains on the crumbling platform to receive the core.

Speak to Arjuna to get this Old Core. Requires you jumping over using the flower to the left of him.

Defeat the Scorpion enemy that can be found under the ledge, then examine the Mechanized Remains to get the Old Core.

Found on the mechanical remains inside the glass orb-like structure. Requires the Striders ability to reach.

Make your way up the wind jet and then hold the strider ability to cross to the right, where you’ll find the core.

Located in the top-right corner of the room. You’ll need the Strider ability to climb the walls whilst you jump across the room from ledge to ledge.

Located on the ledge above the tendrils. Use a combination of the enemy and the Strider ability to reach it.

Requires the Strider ability to reach it.

From the east end of the red room, jump and use the Strider ability to grapple the ceiling. Go west and up onto the icy ledge and then head east to the Core.

Search the Mechanized Remains to get this Old Core, sat next to the flower bud shortcut.

Located at the end of the hall. Take the path opposite the shortcut to the east to reach it.

Speak to Ollanty to get an Old Core.

Found in the Mechanized Remains next to Irina, reach them by using a Downward Dash (down and then the jump button) on the branch above.

Enter Pipe E and follow it to the end.

Interact with the Mechanized Remains outside the eastern exit of this room to bag an Old Core.

Drop down from the gap in the pipes above, and examine the remains.

From the top platform to the left, start gliding over and then hit one of the enemies along the way to gain more height and refresh your Glide.

As you head down the path with the tangled vines, look for a platform above a bounce pad.

Drop down to the right of the Nacre Basin to find this Mechanized Remains.

You will need to obtain Striders to be able to walk up the wall that leads to this corridor.

From there, use Hairpin and Harvester to get yourself across to the other side.

Climb the wall to the right of the pump to find this item.

Search the mechanical remains east of the Network gate to find this.

Obtained by doing a downward dash in the flower pot in the room above.

Examine the remains on the rooftop here to receive the core.

Speak to Harpagon here to receive the core.

Examine the remains resting on a mushroom here.

Scavenge the remains on the bridge to find the core.

On the broken walkway near the top of the room.

From the Network Gate, head down, and keep heading left. You’ll eventually find a dead-end, and the core itself.

Found in a small cubby just beneath the surface, northeast of the Network Gate.

Make your way down to the lowest section of this area, beneath the location of the nearby Old Core to the northeast.

Use the bombs to reach the upper walkway and examine the remains to receive the core.

As you pass through this corridor, look for a gap in the ceiling between two tufts of red grass. Climb up with the Striders to find this.

To reach this core, bounce off the bottom bulb in the screenshot, then quickly attack up to hit the two above circled in red. Immediately double jump and hold glide to hover above them. When they reemerge, downward attack then immediately jump up and over to the left. Complete the rest of the platforming challenge using the energy shards and bulbs. Examine the remains at the end to receive the core.

From the Network Gate, go left, and then climb up the path to the right to find this near the top of the area.

On a ledge in the top-left corner of the room. Use the Energy Shards and flower bulbs to platform your way over.
